The Jinja Town tour will take you to Uganda's second largest and busiest commercial town after Kampala. Jinja was established in 1907, it is located in the East about 85 km away from Kampala, on the shores of Lake Victoria; its where you will also find the source of the Nile River. Jinja is a very interesting and adventurous district with lots of attractions and activities to do including Rafting on the River Nile, boat rides, nature walks, sightseeing, among others.
Our 10-day trip brings you the highlights of Western Uganda: where the savannah meets the rainforest. Expect to see the animals of the savannahs (lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, leopard) and up to 15 primate species, including gorillas and chimps!!!
This trip specifically includes the well-known national parks of Western Uganda: Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park, Muchinson Falls National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.
Uganda Gorilla safari will take you for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is among the oldest forests lasting over 25,000 years. You will be able to trek one of the 12 habituated mountain gorilla groups.
Chimpanzee Trekking Safari will take you to Kibale Forest National Park. This Park is home to 13 primates,70 species of mammals and over 375 bird species.

Uganda is rich in culture and has a strong cultural heritage with a number of cultural sites located in different regions of the country. Almost every tribe in Uganda has either a kingdom or chiefdom however they were first demolished over 40 years ago - incumbent president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni revived the idea of Kingdoms in Uganda shortly after taking office in 1986. The fact that Uganda has always had a strong cultural heritage has left it with so many cultural attractions.
One community - Abayudaya are celebrating their 100th Anniversary (1919 to 2019) this year. Mark the date on your calendar from 23rd to 30th June, 2019. You are all invited to be part of this history.
The Abayudaya is a Luganda acronym to mean the Jewish people of Uganda. Started in 1919 by Semei Kakungulu after reading some versus in the Old Testament, he circumcised his followers and declared himself a Jew from the tribe of Judah. Since then, the Abayudaya have been practicing Judaism.
There are many ways to tour and explore Uganda, and its capital, Kampala. You can do a bicycle safari, take a vehicle ride or you do a walk tour. Exploring Kampala on foot is one of the best ways to enjoy the city.
Kampala is one of the most exciting cities in Africa, with so many sights and sounds that you could easily miss in a car ride, but on a walking tour you take in everything one at a time.
